A poet, touring cyclist, and storyteller, who travels around the world (mostly by bicycle) in order to collect 1001 audio-stories on changes in water & climate. Since “People’s Climate March 2014” in New York, Devi had collected more than 750 recordings from the USA, Fiji, Tuvalu, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Qatar, Morocco, the UK, Canada, China, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. Currently she is working on an online-map on her website, where you will be able to click on a country and enjoy a story from the chosen area. Her writing has been published in The New York Times, The Guardian, Slate, and many other popular newspapers. Moreover, since 2018, Devi is a National Geographic Explorer for the project, recording stories with ArtCirq.
